Meet Our Leadership Team
Jordan Upgren
Resident Historian
Jordan has taught American and world history for five years and is passionate about helping students grow in both knowledge and character. For the past nine years, he has served as a high-capacity volunteer at Inspire Family Fellowship guiding students in their faith. Jordan's love of history began when he started working at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park as a Historical Interpreter. Jordan has worked summers out at FASP for the past eight summers helping bring history to life. Personable, fun, and energetic, Jordan is deeply grounded in his faith and loves creating meaningful, faith-filled learning experiences for all of his students.

Joshua Upgren
Resident Historian
My name is Joshua Upgren, my students call me Mr. Upgren! I'm a 3rd year teacher at New England Public School in New England ND, I'm originally from Bismarck. Like my brother Jordan, I also teach Social studies, except in a small town. I teach 7 different subjects so I'm always busy! I am the first of the Upgren boys to work summers at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park! For eight summers I've held the job of Historical Interpreter helping bring history to life! I have a passion for teaching history and working with youth! I'm also an avid outdoorsman and I like to hunt, fish, hike, kayak, care of our ranch animals, and travel across this great country of ours!

Randy Upgren
Spiritual Director
Randy Upgren is Senior pastor of Inspire Family Fellowship in Bismarck. Spanning over three decades, Pastor Randy's ministry has encompassed everything from youth and family ministry to leadership development. He has authored four books, and has his Master's of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary in California. Randy has also helped co-found Cross Training Ministries (helping his brother, Bob), Teen Talk, and Providence Ranch Ministries (assisting his wife, Pamela). Randy is a lover of biblical and American history and routinely references history in his writing and preaching. Randy brings passion, energy, and creativity into the learning process for all involved in his work.
Lydia Wilkinson
History Activities Lead
Hello! My name is Lydia Wilkinson, and I am ecstatic for the opportunity to share my love of God’s Word and our nation’s rich history with your children. I also have worked out at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park for two summers serving as a historical, cultural, and natural interpreter devoted to bringing history to life for all. In addition, I've volunteered as a children’s leader at Inspire Family Fellowship for two years. I am eager to share His-story with future generations by showing how intimately God is woven into every page of history, beyond the text textbooks.
